KG Evaluation System

The education progress focuses on overall development of a child invarious skills like fine motor skill, gross motor skill, physical development and ability in reading, writing and speaking as well. Scholastic area includes observation of classwork, Homework, Oral work etc. Summative assessments are worksheets.

Co-scholastic area includes development in art & drawing, musical rhymes, sports and games, social skill and thinking skill. Continuous and constant observation is done throughout the year in all these different areas.


Primary Evaluation System

The academic year is divided into two terms, constant and continuous monitoring is followed by the school in scholastic and co-scholastic areas. So, according to GSEB guideline school based Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation i.e. CCE is adopted by BPS.

Each term includes formative and summative assessment. Formative assessment includes average of KYL, project work, c. w., oral, etc. Summative assessment is pen and paper test.

Scholastic area includes two sections; section-A includes all the main subjects whereas section –B includes extra subjects like Drawing, Computer, Music ,Physical Education etc.

Co-scholastic area also includes two sections. Section-A includes sports & health, rope yoga, gymnastic, karate, skating, sports and games. Section-B includes cultural & literary, music, art & craft, dance etc. Evaluation of life skills, values and attitudes is also done. Continuous and constant observation is done throughout the year in all these different areas.
